Pimms & a Paddle!

Half Day Tour on either the Stour, the Upper Medway or the Hythe Military Canal

This Tour will begin and end at either Grove Ferry riverside car park, Yalding Canal side car park or West Hythe Car Park. The location is up to you, depending on what you want to see and experience. There is ample parking at each place or the train stations of Canterbury, Yalding or Folkestone are very near to our launch points (we can pick you up at them if you wish).

Whatever the destination you should expect to be paddling for around 3 hours in total on quiet, peaceful stretches of water. We'll pull up on the side of the waterways after about 90 minutes paddling to enjoy a glass of Pimms and a traditional English Afternoon Tea (even if it's mid morning, we'll still have afternoon tea!). For tea we serve Earl Grey/Green Tea with a selection of sandwiches (such as free range Kentish egg mayonnaise with cress, cucumber and cottage cheese and Kentish cheese with pickle), Sultana Scones with Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam, and a selection of cakes (brownies, cupcakes, meringues, crumbles...).
