Greetings, and thanks for visiting the Canoe Kent website! If you'd like to skip straight to the page that tells you about what we offer and how much it is, then please Click Here. If not, please read on...

PLEASE NOTE; We have NO AVAILABILITY UNTIL SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2013 as we are away leading expeditions all summer. If you'd like to book any tour for a Saturday or Sunday from September 12th onwards, please email us soon to arrange it as dates fill up fast, thanks. Weekday tours in Sept/Oct are also available.

We offer canoe tours on the rivers and canals of Kent, which are just an hour by train from London and have been described as some of the most beautiful waterways in the world. We think we're really lucky to be living and working here, it’s a fascinating area with an abundance of wildlife, history and opportunities for adventure, and we’d love to share some of our favourite secret places with you!

Whether you’re interested in a physically easy, scenically beautiful trip on flat water, an energy sapping, large-horizon estuary exploration, or having a more activity focused tour, such as bird watching or photography, we have something for you. And New for 2013 we’re offering Seal Watching half day tours, and the option to bring your own kit and use Dave Wise (Click Here to read more about Dave) as your group guide.

Our fully guided canoe journeys can range from a short half day session to an all-inclusive 7 day camping tour. We are completely flexible regarding times, locations, tour themes and also departures (so if you check the BBC weather forecast the day before your tour and it predicts torrential rain, don't worry! You can postpone your trip at no extra cost).

Why travel by canoe? Because we can move silently, therefore enabling us to get closer to wildlife without disturbing it. We can explore small channels that larger boats cannot. We can glide over shallows to deserted islands that only flat bottomed canoes like ours can access. And because canoes offer one of the greenest ways to travel; they create no noise, or pollution, allowing us to leave each place as we find it, and hope to find it in the future…

Our open canoes are geared up to suit the expert and novice alike and to tour both river and estuary in comfort. Each canoe is steered by a knowledgeable and friendly guide and has room to seat 2 passengers (all our trips have a maximum of just 2 people on them to ensure you receive the very best service) so you can enjoy a canoe trip whether you are on your own or with a friend.

So please, have a look at What We Offer, or if you'd rather talk about designing your very own trip don't hesitate to get in contact by email on info@canoekent.com or on 07864 743157 (if we don't pick up right away, it's likely we're on the water, please try again!).
